At the beginning of the week Scott's sister Kristina and her children, Drew and Mia, came and stayed for a couple of days. Nicholas absolutely loves seeing his cousins and enjoyed playing with them so much! Here are some of the cute photos...

Drew is the best nephew ever! He helped me out by assembling my new stroller.
Scott was thrilled to get out of that one!

During the Emond's visit to our house many other family members also came to see the kids. Aunt Margie, Aunt Mary, Gram, Grandpa, and Great Grandpa! Here is Great Grandpa enjoying his new great granddaughter and his Nicholas...

This week we also went and visited my grandmother, my aunts, and my cousin Kasey and her daughter Ruby! Here is GG holding Sarah Kate...

Later in the week I tried to get some good shots of Sarah Kate. She is starting to smile but I was unable to catch it on camera. I'll keep trying!! Here is the sweetie looking darling at 5 weeks old...

This morning Nicholas started Swimming lessons at the YMCA. We will be going every Sunday morning from 9:00 to 9:30am. He was a little hesitant at first and did cry. Finally he went in for a little bit with the teacher. Hopefully next week he is a little less intimidated.

Nicholas waiting for swim class to start...
"Wow, that is a big pool"
This is where he spent the majority of class today...
All the kids took turns, about five turns each, with the teacher in the pool. Nicholas went only once this week. At least he sat on the edge!!
After swim class we headed to Roger Williams Zoo for what was suppose to be a day spent with our friends that we have met through the adoption agency. There was a large outing planned and Nicholas was especially excited to play with Dennis, Joey, and William. All three of these boys were born in Russia and we love spending time with their families. However, the weather did not cooperate today! We went hoping the weather man was right and that it would be light rain. Unfortunately that was wrong and it was raining so hard that we all decided to save our tickets for another day and headed home! We assured Nicholas that we would come back soon to see the animals and we have another planned event in June with our Russian friends. On the way out Scott suggested the carousel as a treat and Nicholas loved riding on it with his dad!
Here they are before it started...

Nicholas did enjoy this special treat!
He also enjoyed a special treat of chocolate ice cream after supper tonight. Apparently the spoon got him in the forehead at some point. My oh my does this child love ice cream!!
All in all it was a wonderful week! Last, but certainly not least, Sarah Kate did something very exciting this week. Out of the past four nights she has slept through three of them!! Yes, she has slept from 11:00pm to 7:00am three times!! How amazing is this!! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am! If you see her grandfather be sure to ask him how much he is asking for the family farm as it is officially for sale!!!!
