Mid December Fun!

We are having a blast and loving every minute of the holiday season! Last weekend we went to get the Christmas tree...
Here is Nicholas standing near some smaller ones...

Nicholas loved watching the man cut the bottom with a chainsaw---he is all boy!

Daddy bought Nicholas a small John Deere tractor and trailer while we were getting the tree. Of course they had to play with that prior to setting up the tree! They are both all boy!

The tree goes in the stand and the boys secure it and add some water!

The lights are on and Nicholas wants to move right on to the ornaments. Speaking of ornaments, he picked up a red bulb and he looked like he wanted to throw it like a ball. However, he instead just squished it in his hands and it broke in many pieces. Luckily he didn't get hurt!

Nicholas put on a special ornament that we have that is a
snowman wearing a Russian flag t-shirt!
He loves using the step stool to put on ornaments!

He also loved playing with the garland!

Cooper just liked sitting on the couch and watching!

More ornaments...

All done!!
Nicholas loves these reindeer antlers that I won at my work Christmas party. The other day he wore them all morning while we were getting ready. So cute...
He insisted he wear them in the car to Aunt Carol's house too!!
Aunt Margie and two friends came over Saturday and we made homemade bird suet balls as gifts. Nicholas loved having his hands covered in raisins, sunflower seed, lard, peanut butter, etc. What a mess, but so much fun!
I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday season. Nicholas is so much fun this year. He especially loves the lights, the decorations, and the holiday M & M's (thanks to Aunt Carol he now knows what they are).
