My dad has a backhoe!

This week Nicholas celebrated his first St. Patrick's Day complete with corned beef and cabbage. He has had corned beef before but it was a special day that included seeing family, dressing in green, and having chocolate pudding for dessert!!!

Nicholas has seen his dad driving his backhoe a little bit before, but today he just loved watching him. Maybe it was because Scott was working right outside the kitchen window or maybe Nicholas know that his dad was working on clearing a spot for Nicholas' play area. Scott officially started preparing a section of yard that will have a shed, swing set, sandbox, and a picnic table. Here is Scott working to flatten the land after he cut down trees and burned all weekend.

Maybe next weekend his dad will give him a ride...
