Merry Chirstmas!!!

Well, I want to start off by wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas! This Christmas will obviously be such a memorable one for our family now that our Nicholas is home. Nicholas continues to make such great progress and learns so much everyday. I have a few pictures to share with you this week.

Nicholas simply loves Cooper. It is amazing how much they play and interact. Cooper is the best dog ever and is so great with Nicholas. This week Nicholas stepped on Cooper's hurt paw and Cooper just cried and walked away. Cooper also had Nicholas investigate what it would be like to stick his finger into his nose. Cooper just looked at me as to say "Hey, can you help me out here?" Here is Nicholas and Cooper just hanging out in the kitchen...

Nicholas loves the Christmas tree. He takes the ornaments off and then puts them back on by throwing them into the tree. Of course the tree is child safe on the bottom three feet. He also loves to point at all the lights...

This weekend provided Nicholas with his first real snowstorm experience. We only went outside for a short time as it was very cold and his cheeks turned red fast. He liked being pulled in the sled and loved sticking his arm in the snow.

Nicholas' aunt and two friends came over for lunch and we made homemade suet balls for the birds. Here is Nicholas helping in his learning tower. That learning tower gets a lot of use! I promised Nicholas' aunt Margie I would not put her on the website but that is her arm around Nicholas. Nicholas loves aunt Margie!!! Lastly, you can see Cooper likes to lay under the tower in case any food falls or Nicholas simply decides to share with him which happens all too often!!


Again, Merry Christmas from our family! 2008 was a wonderful year for us and we hope and pray that 2009 may lead us to Nicholas' sister in China. We officially decided to stay "in line" in the Chinese adoption process and hope to have a match with a little girl by the end of 2009!!
