A Very Full Weekend...

This weekend was very, very busy! On Saturday we attended my cousin Hannah's graduation party. Nicholas had a great time as you will see in the next couple of photos. I was in charge of the kids activities and Nicholas and I had fun going to Benny's to get the supplies for a bubble pool. Here he is having a blast. Luckily I brought a change of clothes for him!
The bubble pool was a huge hit with the kids. It was a fun day despite the rain. Nicholas also loved that it was at my Aunt Robin's house as he got to tour the horse barn and pat the horses!

On Sunday we attended a family picnic hosted by the parent group of the adoption agency we went through to adopt Nicholas. It was at Colt State Park in Bristol, RI and it was simply beautiful there. We had a great day! The highlight was that we had arranged to meet five other families that all adopted children from Bryansk, Russia just like us! Four of the families had children that were at the same orphanage as Nicholas. We had communicated via e-mail and this was the first time many of us met. The children all loved playing together. There were also a couple more families with children from Russia although from a different region. The weather turned out to be nice and we had a great time. Here is the highlight reel...

Nicholas was in the bouncy house 85% of the day! He absolutely loved it!

Nicholas and dad also visited the bubble pool...

His dad showed him how to roll a hula hoop...

and how to spin it around his waist...

Here are most of the children at the picnic from Russia. We did wait a bit too long to take the photo and a couple of the kids had gone home. Aren't they all so cute!!!

Sarah Kate needed to eat and Nicholas needed a snack bad enough to
agree to leave the bouncy house for a bit!
Sarah Kate just loves to look all around and watch what is going on.

We took a little walk down to the waterfront at the park.
Nicholas loved running the whole way...

If you tell him to smile this is what you get...
My beautiful boy...
I love my babies!!

and so does daddy!!

Have a wonderful week!
