Pictures, Pictures, Pictures!!!

Nicholas continues to do so well!! His latest life accomplishments include walking fast, making a cow sound, giving hugs and kisses without being asked, eating oranges, blowing bubbles out of a bubble wand, climbing the ladder and going down the slide in the church toddler room, and taking off his socks!! He is such a fast learner and simply enjoys life so much!
January has already been a lot of fun for little Nicholas (and me) so far! Yesterday we went to the Children's Museum in Boston with two friends that are also from Bryansk, Russia!! We loved meeting Aaden and Angelina and their moms!! Here are some photos from the trip...

We both had fun in the bubble room!

Our trip to the museum was wonderful! Nicholas loved it so much. I have been talking to Aaden's and Angelina's mom for almost a year now on the computer. Both moms adopted through the same agency and from the same region in Russia last year. We have enjoyed sharing in each other's journeys. Angelina and Aaden are about 3 months older than Nicholas and I hope they will become lifelong friends!

Nicholas also started taking two classes at the YMCA this month. He loves them both. The first is a swim class for children 6 to 36 months. I was shocked to learn at the first class that we were the only ones who signed up for that session. Therefore Nicholas is having private swim lessons every week for 8 weeks, are we great parents or what!! :-)

Here he is in the locker room before class! During the first class he learned to kick his feet and blow bubbles by sticking his mouth in the water.

Nicholas is also enjoying a class at the YMCA called Tumblebugs! Here he is...

He can do this slide without any help!!! A big accomplishment for him!!

Lastly, this month we wished Uncle BJ a happy birthday! This was the first time Nicholas experienced the birthday cake - lights off, singing, blowing out of candles, etc. He wasn't sure what was happening but he loved the cake and ice cream!
