It is so nice to be home! We arrived home at about 10:00pm last night from trip #2. It was great sleeping in our own bed and having a good cup of coffee this morning. Overall, the trip was very successful. I am posting a couple photos from the trip for you to see. The pictures are not in chronological order :-)
This is a picture of us standing outside of the court house in Bryansk after the court hearing on Monday. This is the first official photo of us as parents!!!
This is a park area located across the street from our hotel in Bryansk.
We spent Sunday exploring the city.
This is our Cooper at home right before we left for the airport last Wednesday.
How cute is that face!!! He was so excited to see us last night!
our medical appointments on Friday.
This is the hallway inside the hospital where
we spent awhile waiting to see the doctors.

We took the train to Bryansk from Moscow on Friday night.
This is a photo of our hotel in Bryansk. It was
very nice compared to where we stayed last time.
I hope you enjoyed viewing the photos. We will post more of Bryansk at some point this week. We are now home and back to work for a week and a half. We did learn that we could pick Nicholas up on Friday, October 24th and after a lot of research and discussion we decided to stick to our original plan of picking him up on Monday the 27th. We already made our flight and hotel arrangements and by changing our travel plans it would end up costing a couple thousand dollars more and also there were other factors that led us to ultimately decide not to change the trip schedule. Therefore, we will be flying out of Logan on Saturday the 25th and arriving in Bryansk on the 26th. On the 27th we will pick up our Nicholas!! We will then stay in Bryansk for a couple days and then travel to Moscow where we will stay through Saturday. We will leave Moscow early Saturday morning and arrive home Saturday, November 1st in the afternoon. So...we have 11 days to baby proof the house as well as pack and prepare for trip 3. There is so much to do and we are so excited to get ready for the best trip of all!! It is amazing to think that in less than two weeks we will have our sweet Nicholas in our arms forever! I'll keep everyone updated over the next 11 days....thank you for the prayers and support....

There are no words to describe the absolute beauty of your baby boy, Nicholas. I never would have known that he had a cold. He already has his moms' strength and great nature. Sorry Dad i do not know you but can certainly see the love in your family. Third time will be the charm. Pictures look great. Sam and I miss you so but are thrilled beyond words. love lisa and sam
Scott and Tammi-
Glad to hear that you had a safe trip home. The next 11 days are probably going to fly by. OK maybe not at first, but as the days go by and look back you are probably going to be amazed!!
Have fun finishing the last details you need to do, so the house will be ready for Nicholas!!
Love,
