Fall Fun...

I'm back! One Halloween costume done and one to go! Luckily Scott's mom is here tomorrow to help me finish Sarah Kate's costume. She already has it well under way and has been a huge help. I am so excited that I decided to make the costumes again this year. There are some darling costumes for sale in the store but adding personal touches and making them myself has been such fun. Next weekend costume picture previews will be posted :-)

The past couple of weeks have been full of fun! The pictures on the post are backwards as far as when they took place...oops! So, I'll start with today. Today Nicholas had a lot of fun jumping in leaves!
We can never get them both looking...
Cutie pie Nicholas...
Sarah Kate loving the leaves...
He is funny...
Yesterday we went to Pezza Farm in Johnston, RI had had a blast with other families blessed through adoption. We especially had fun as we spent our day the the Jones Family. Dave and Robyn have 4 year old Dennis who is also Russian. We have gotten together about four times in the past year or so and enjoy seeing them.
At Pezza Farm we added a new addition to our home...a handmade scarecrow!! Fun!
Today...Nicholas "helping" Scott with the wall and steps...
Pezza Farm - Nicholas and Dennis playing in the sandbox...
Feeding the animals...
Scott makes a friend...
He..he...
Nicholas working hard on the face.Sarah Kate loved playing with Katy. Katy's family is one we have gotten to know well at the events. Usually Katy enjoys playing with Nicholas but today she loved Sarah Kate! Katie was adopted from Korea when she was young.
Nicholas hard at work as Dennis' mom watches...
Dennis and Nicholas had fun stuffing the scarecrow...
and jumping in the hay...check out these action shots!

My Family!!!!
We had a great time on the hayride. Feeding the cows and the horse was the highlight!
It was so windy but so fun...
Dennis and Nicholas loved sitting near one another...
Here they are showing each other their pumpkins. Oh course, in true boy fashion, they had to slam the pumpkins together!
Nicholas showing dad his pick...
As you can see the pumpkins are already off the vine, Nicholas loves it anyway!
and the decision was a tough one...
Sarah Kate was all bundled up and even had on 12 month clothes!
My big girl!
"Bury Nicholas' dad" was the name of this game!
Change of event....
Sarah Kate has now moved out of the infant tub and into the big tub in a special seat that Nicholas used when he was little. They are so cute in the tub. She loves to splash and he loves to splash her!
A little Halloween cupcake decorating fun...

Sarah Kate took her first swing ride recently! Wow! She is now 7 months old and it is amazing the milestones she is reaching. She sits on her own, eats baby food, sucks on solid food, swings, goes in the big bath tub, and even learned to clap this weekend!!!
"So cute it's scary!" I guess!

Nicholas also had school picture day recently! I can't wait to get the pictures as he looked so cute. Please note that it is not potty friendly to tuck in a shirt. We are at a point that shirts must be out and pants must be elastic waist. So far no accidents at school and we are thrilled. He loves school and is doing so well. He has a field trip to a farm this Tuesday. Another hayride for him...What a wonderful time of year!

Have a great week!!!
